We believe that parental care is essential to the development of premature infants.

Caiden's Hope strives to increase each NICU parent's ability to care personally for their precious newborn by partnering with hospital social services departments nationwide to provide travel expenses for NICU families.

Depending on the families needs, we can offer many of the following:

Prepaid Gas Cards

Rail and Bus Tickets

Assistance with parking costs

Assistance with airfare

Assistance with lodging fees

Assistance with meal fees

Every family situation is unique which is why we ask that you contact your hospital social worker. They will help you determine the possible expenses you will have during your baby's stay in the NICU. They will be able to reach out to CHF on your behalf & we will take it from there!

"At 19 weeks pregnant we found out our soon to be baby boy had a severe heart defect. We also found out he would need heart surgery within a few days of being born. We live in Sioux City, Iowa and needed to be in and stay in Omaha, Nebraska until he recovered and could go home. He arrived earlier than expected at 35 weeks. We received the gift cards from you helping with the extra cost of travel that is very appreciated. We are grateful for your foundation and the support!

~ A NICU parent

It has been almost a year since our sweet Jade came into this world at only 30 weeks gestation. My water broke unexpectedly and this little girl was born by emergency c-section four days later. Navigating the NICU world is terrifying. Our home is one hour from the hospital so we stayed at the Ronald McDonald House and also with other family who graciously accommodated us. During our stay my husband still went to work daily, driving 2 hours a day, back and forth. Caiden's Hope sent us gift cards for gas without any hesitation.
